Markus Rainer - the creative mind behind Ella, is not only the author and inventor of this enchanting character, but also the founder of prefact.at - the prevention factory .
His inspiration for Ella came when he was searching in vain for child-friendly books and information about avalanches, ski tours and snow for his children. This led him to write himself. That's how Ella was born!
Markus lives in the picturesque Tux in the Zillertal and consistently follows his motto:
"Prevention instead of rescue operation" .
At prefact .at – the prevention factory, he develops tailor-made prevention measures for companies and tourist areas that are specifically designed to prevent accidents, especially in Alpine regions.
Felicie Brunner - together with her partner Marcel Würger, has been managing the company Girsberger Mountain Rescue Technology for over a decade.
In 2002 , Girsberger Mountain Rescue Technology launched the world’s first
ATC Avalanche Training Center , which set completely new standards in avalanche transceiver training! The ATC Avalanche Training Center is a stationary facility for practicing avalanche searches using avalanche transceivers and avalanche probes. It enables you to practice handling emergency equipment under almost realistic conditions.
Through her involvement in prevention work, especially in the avalanche safety workshops for adults and children led by her and her daughter Fee, Felicie found the inspiration to develop a children's book on the subject of safety.
Markus and Felicie's paths crossed through their professional passions. Their shared vision and expertise formed the perfect breeding ground for the creation of our Safety children's book series.
Yulia Degtyareva - A stroke of luck for our team was meeting Yulia, a talented illustrator who brings our books to life with her vibrant and engaging illustrations.
